Fabrikka

Is a series of intaglio prints made after a stay in New York where a giant pencil drawing took shape in a period of four months in my studio when I was not writing. The imagery in Fabrikka is transcribed from my drawing wall in New York into Intaglio prints in Copenhagen. The figures are workers that produce a single pair of poodle wool gloves a week, adorable ideological creatures who work a minimum while laughing, like artists or future workers of the global North. Like the extravaganza of a life in New York, working four expensive still walls; a coachroach on a frying pan.
